About
Nic is a writer, teacher and - currently - doctoral researcher at the Shakespeare Institute at the University of Birmingham. In 2022, Nic and Wendy, his wife, moved to North Wales to take on a substantial property overlooking the Dee Valley and develop it into a retreat centre for writers and other artists. The first paying retreat took place in May 2023 and Nic's blog seeks to chart the progress of the retreat from the first week of full operation onwards.
