About the event
Your place on our March 2026 tutored writing retreat (5 nights) gives you a place to write in the way which suits you - alone or in a group; following a retreat schedule or pursuing your own plan; with support from your host or working independently. Writing workshops and extensive one-to-one time will be provided throughout the week.
The retreat runs from Sunday to Friday (5 nights) and your accommodation will be in one of our spacious, ensuite bedrooms with TV, WiFi, Tea and Coffee making facilities, all toiletries and - of course - a desk at which to write if you choose to. During the day you will have access to the group writing table, our lounge writing space (with a view over the valley), your bedroom writing space and, of course, our extensive garden and grounds where you might discover your own place to write. Standard Room - £745
Payment of the deposit (£165 incl VAT) secures you one of our standard rooms for a Monday-Friday retreat at a total price, including the deposit, of £745 including VAT. Extra Night Before (B&B) - £75
A deposit of £10 (incl VAT) secures you an extra night's accommodation, on the night before the retreat check-in, on a bed and breakfast basis only (subject to availability). The full price of just £75 includes breakfast but not other meals/hospitality and is designed to allow you to maximise your time at A Place To Write (the balance of £65 is payable 21 days prior to the start of the retreat). Check in on this day is 3pm.
