General Terms and Conditions

The payment that reserves your place is non-refundable, except in the case of 2. below
In the event of cancellation of a retreat by A Place To Write, for any reason (including Covid), we will refund all sums paid to us by you to that point but will not be liable for any other costs incurred by you.
In the event that you need to change your booking for a retreat, after booking your place, we will work with you to transfer your booking to an alternative available retreat date, where possible.
In the event that you are forced to leave the retreat with more than 24 hours of the retreat remaining, for reasons beyond your control, we may refund a proportion of the total payment at our sole discretion.
To confirm and pay for bookings you will be taken to our WeTravel.com pages. WeTravel is a third party supplier of a booking and payment platform. WeTravel will ask you to create a password for their site in order for you to check and manage your booking and payments. Your data is then shared between WeTravel and ourselves for the purposes of managing your booking.
The balance of payment for a retreat is payable in full a minimum of 28 days prior to the start of your retreat.
For clarification, our cancellation policy is as follows: Deposits, which secure your place on a retreat, are non-refundable. Where a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the booking being made we will refund a sum equivalent to the deposit paid less costs incurred by us in processing that booking. Cancellations that occur after this 7 day period and prior to payment of the balance due for the retreat will forfeit the deposit in full. The balance of payment for each retreat is due 28 days prior to the start of the retreat and cancellation after this point will forfeit all sums paid including any balance payments made in part or full. Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date (28 days prior to the commencement of the retreat), without our prior agreement, will result in cancellation of the booking with no refund of any sums paid.
