If you are booking a place on one of our retreats...

General Terms and Conditions

  1. ​The payment that reserves your place is non-refundable, except in the case of 2. below

  2. In the event of cancellation of a retreat by A Place To Write, for any reason (including Covid), we will refund all sums paid to us by you to that point but will not be liable for any other costs incurred by you.

  3. In the event that you need to change your booking for a retreat, after booking your place, we will work with you to transfer your booking to an alternative available retreat date, where possible.

  4. In the event that you are forced to leave the retreat with more than 24 hours of the retreat remaining, for reasons beyond your control, we may refund a proportion of the total payment at our sole discretion.​

  5. To confirm and pay for bookings you will be taken to our WeTravel.com pages. WeTravel is a third party supplier of a booking and payment platform. WeTravel will ask you to create a password for their site in order for you to check and manage your booking and payments. Your data is then shared between WeTravel and ourselves for the purposes of managing your booking.

  6. The balance of payment for a retreat is payable in full a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of your retreat. This balance payment can be divided into installments by you, payable at any time, provided the final installment is received at least 14 days prior to the start of your retreat.

  7.  Booking fees apply to payments made via WeTravel's portal. The amount of the booking fee varies according to the sum of the payment and the payment method used.
