Retreats at A Place to Write
A Place to Write began as just that - a place to write in a peaceful location overlooking the stunning Dee Valley in a Victorian property built by a former sheriff of Denbigh.
Our established and successful writing retreats, for writers of both fiction and non-fiction, include accommodation in our spacious ensuite bedrooms, all meals and refreshments, and a choice of places and spaces to write. You can work as part of a group with a structured schedule or on your own to a timetable that suits you.
In addition to writing retreats, we have now launched our 2024 'Hosted By' range of events. These include Unique Shakespeare Retreats, for anyone who wants to develop their appreciation of the bard, alongside a programme of pampering and relaxation retreats with a twist.
Whichever retreats interest you, Nic and Wendy- your hosts - will support you as much or as little as you want and guide you through your stay. You can even use our base to venture out on hill walks, mountain climbs, riverbank trails or to tackle any of the many other activities available in the local area.
