About the event
Your place on our February 2027 tutored writing retreat gives you a place to write in the way which suits you - alone or in a group; following a retreat schedule or pursuing your own plan; with support from your host or working independently. Writing workshops and one-to-one time will be provided throughout the week.
The retreat runs from Monday to Friday (4 nights) and your accommodation will be in one of our spacious, ensuite bedrooms with TV, WiFi, Tea and Coffee making facilities, all toiletries and - of course - a desk at which to write if you choose to. During the day you will have access to the group writing table, our lounge writing space (with a view over the valley), your bedroom writing space and, of course, our extensive garden and grounds where you might discover your own place to write. Superior Room - £845
Daily workshops, readings and genre-specific one-to-ones all with your own spacious ensuite room with glorious views. Payment of the deposit (£195 incl VAT) secures you one of our superior rooms with a stunning view at a total price, including the deposit, of £845 including VAT (no concessions available). The balance of payment is payable against invoice, 21 days prior to the start of the retreat.

Standard Room - £795
Daily workshops, readings and one-to-ones, with your own fully ensuite room. Payment of the deposit (£165 incl VAT) secures you one of our standard rooms for a Monday-Friday retreat at a total price, including the deposit, of £795 including VAT. The balance of payment is due 21 days prior to the start of the retreat.

Daily workshops, readings and one-to-ones, plus your own cosy ensuite room. Payment of the deposit (£135 incl VAT) secures you one of our attic rooms at a total price, including the deposit, of £745 including VAT. The balance of payment will be payable against invoice, 21 days prior to the start of the retreat.

Extra Night After (B&B) - £95
A deposit of £10 (incl VAT) secures you an extra night's accommodation, on the night after the retreat check-out, on a bed and breakfast basis only (subject to availability). The full price of just £95 includes breakfast but not other meals/hospitality and is designed to allow you to maximise your time at A Place To Write (the balance of £75 is payable 21 days prior to the start of the retreat). Check-out on this day is 11am.

Two Nights After (B&B) - £175
A deposit of £20 (incl VAT) secures you an extra night's accommodation, on the night after the retreat check-out, on a bed and breakfast basis only (subject to availability). The full price of just £175 includes breakfast but not other meals/hospitality and is designed to allow you to maximise your time at A Place To Write (the balance of £155 is payable 21 days prior to the start of the retreat). Accompanying Dog - £35
A place for your furry friend on the retreat, sharing your room. The fee covers extra cleaning and other costs. A maximum of two dogs are allowed on each retreat. Dogs are usually not allowed in the dining room but are allowed in all other areas. Contact us if you need more information.
