About the event
A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
Arrive on Monday 19th May for our initial play reading, and stay in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on Thursday 22nd May. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
a guided reading of Romeo and Juliet with group discussion
workshops exploring Shakespeare's language and verse
creative response sessions (in which you have a chance to respond to Shakespeare's play in writing, visual art or drama - or explore the local landscape)
a candlelit presentation on the effects of candlelight on Romeo and Juliet
