A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring Shakespeare's major comedies with a particular focus on Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, and A Midsummer Night's Dream
Arrive on Monday 13th October for our evening welcome dinner and stay in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on Friday 17th October. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
a guided reading of one play each day, followed by a group discussion
practical workshops exploring Shakespeare's verse and drama
creative response sessions (in which you have a chance to respond to Shakespeare's plays in writing, visual art or drama - or explore the local landscape)
a candlelit presentation on the effects of candlelight in Shakespeare's plays
A Place to Write
