About the event
A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring Shakespeare's Tragedies, with a focus on 'Hamlet', 'King Lear' and 'Macbeth'.
Arrive on Monday 9th November 2026 for our evening welcome dinner and stay in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on Friday 13th November. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
Guided readings of three plays with discussion
Practical workshops and interviews with practitioners exploring features of Shakespeare's drama
Creative response opportunities
A candlelit presentation on the effects of candlelight on Shakespeare's plays
