About the event
A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring Shakespeare's major tragedies with a particular focus on Macbeth, King Lear and Hamlet
Arrive on Sunday 10th November for our evening welcome dinner, or on the morning of Monday 11th November for our first play reading, and stay in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on Friday 15th November. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
a guided reading of one play each day, followed by a group discussion
two extended workshops exploring Shakespeare's language and verse
two lecture-style presentations on aspects of Shakespeare's work related to his tragedies, followed by Q&A
a panel discussion of Shakespeare's tragedies with Q&A
